Tan inverse a + tan inverse b : Tana b or tan (a+b) trigonometric identity is very important from examination point of view. In this post we will drive the tan a+b formula in terms of Tan a + tan b which is also known as tangent addition formulas.
What is Tan(a + b) Identity? : In trigonometry, tana b is one of the most important identities which is used for compound angles. Formula of tan a+b can be derived in terms of ten. When we have to calculate the value of any tangent function which is given in the form of the addition of any two angles then we can apply this formula.
Tan(a + b) Compound Angle Formula
In terms of trigonometric identities the formula of Tana b or tan (a+b) for the compound angle (a+b) is known as tangent addition formula. We can write the tan(a+b) formula in terms of ten trigonometry function as tan(a + b) = (tan a + tan b)/1 – (tan a) (tan b)}
If tan a and tan b are the roots : First we should know two trigonometric identities sin(a+b) and cos(a+b). After that we need one more trigonometric identity to drive this formula tana b or tan(a + b) = sin(a + b)/cos(a + b). If we know sin(a+b) and cos(a+b) then we can prove the derivation of this tan a plus b formula by using tan(a + b) = sin(a + b)/cos(a + b).
- sin(a+b) = sin a cos b + cos a sin b
- cos(a+b) = cos a cos b – sin a sin b
- tan(a + b) = sin(a + b)/cos(a + b) {Here we will put sin (a+b) and cos (a+b)}
- tan(a + b) = (sin a cos b + cos a sin b)/(cos a cos b – sin a sin b)
- Dividing the numerator and denominator by cos a cos b, we will get
- Tan(a + b) = (tan a + tan b)/(1 – tan a·tan b)
Hence proved – Tan(a + b) = tan(a + b) = (tan a + tan b)/1 – (tan a) (tan b)}. Please follow this link of Explanation of Mathematics formula – Click
Calculate tan inverse a + tan inverse b
We can write tan inverse a + tan inverse b formula – Tan inverse a+ tan inverse b = tan inverse ((a+b)/1-a*b)
Tana b formula known as tan(a + b) = (tan a + tan b)/1 – (tan a) (tan b)}
By using this formula tan(a + b) = (tan a + tan b)/1 – (tan a) (tan b)}
By using this formula tan(a + b) = (tan a + tan b)/1 – (tan a) (tan b)}
