1406ई. में देवराय प्रथम सिंहासन पर बैठा। उसकी तुंगभ्रदा दोआब पर बहमनियों से भिंड़त हुई, जिसमें वह हार गया और उसने अपनी बेटी की शादी हसनगंगू के पुत्र फिरोज़ के साथ करवा दी।

16वीं सदीं में पुर्तगाली लेखक नुनिज ने विजयनगर की यात्रा की थी। अतः युग्म 1 सही सुमेलित नहीं है।
फारसी यात्री अर्ब्दुरज्ज़ाक ने देवराय द्वितीय के शासनकाल में विजयनगर की यात्रा की थी। अतः युग्म 2 सही सुमेलित नहीं है।
इतालवी यात्री निकोलो कोण्डी पंद्रहवीं सदी के पूर्वार्द्ध में (1420) में विजयनगर आया था। अतः युग्म 3 सही सुमेलित है।
प्रश्न 9:- फिरोज़शाह बहमनी के संदर्भ में निम्न में से कौन-सा कथन असत्य है?

व्याख्याः फिरोज़शाह बहमनी दक्कन को भारत का सांस्कृतिक केंद्र बनाने हेतु कटिबद्ध था। उसने पूर्व विधान (ओल्ड टेस्टामैंट) और नवविधान (न्यू टेस्टामैंट) दोनों को पढ़ा था। वह दक्कन में सिर्फ शासन करना चाहता था न कि अफगान शासन स्थापित करना चाहता था।
